It’s hard not to notice a De Bonne Facture piece when you see one. It doesn’t stand out because of outlandish design or embellishments, but rather because it seems familiar but better. By utilizing superlative fabrics and paying careful attention to every detail, we see collection after collection that is always tasteful but never boring. There is a certain Parisian-ness to wearing fine clothing casually, and while this clearly serves as inspiration for the brand it feels completely in-line with the rest of our store.
Déborah Neuberg named her brand after a French expression that describes a way of doing things well, embracing the connection between designing and manufacturing. Taking this to heart, every piece is represented with full transparency, from the source of the fabric to the individual atelier or workshop that produced it, spotlighting France’s storied history of fine clothing craftsmanship.
