A redux of our original service boot with Viberg, this time in their classic aged bark roughout. Sturdy but comfortable, these are the kind of boots that only get better with age - there's a reason we had to do this same makeup again.
Full grain uppers; aged bark on the roughout side
Stitchdown construction; on the 1035 last
Brass eyelets; two sets of laces: leather and waxed
Founded in 1931 by Ed Viberg, this Canadian company is now in its third generation and is still entirely family owned and operated. Today, Ed's son Glen Viberg is still on the factory floor, personally working on every single pair of boots that leaves the doors. A business that began with the goal of crafting the best boot possible and is committed to maintaining this uncompromising level of quality.
Viberg Boot uses traditional manufacturing methods and high quality materials sourced from around the world: brass tacks from England, heavyweight insoles from Spain, Vibram outsoles, Swiss hobnails and the finest upper leathers from tanneries in the USA and Italy. There are over 200 steps that go into producing a pair of Viberg boots and all of them are performed in its own facility in Victoria, BC.
In the last five years, Viberg has expanded and collaborated with some makers and designers dedicated to sourcing high-quality, honest footwear. We're proud to join that list of trusted partners.
