From afar the maze like pattern is made up of little dots of color, up close you see that they look like tufts of various color and finally when you handle it you see each tuft are interwoven pieces of other fabrics darting through the shirt. The light woven khadi base shirt is the perfect canvas for the art that is Kardo's embroidery. Utilizing recycled bits of fabric from their collection, the remnants are then cut in to strips and used to make patterns you see today.
