American Denim, NYC Style

After a career spanning decades and a lifetime infatuation with it, Glenn Liburd started his namesake denim brand at the age of 62. Inspired by the local scenes of 1970s and 80s New York City, he put together a core collection of perfected cuts, all using American denim and cut and sewn right here in NYC. Almost entirely made by him in his Brooklyn workroom, Glenn has an arsenal of vintage industrial machines, many of which he's modified, re-worked and restored to precisely suit his needs.

Start to finish you can see and feel the passion for great jeans, from the dialed-in narrow selection of cuts to the commitment to working with a small mill in Georgia to continue producing denim, this is the sort of maker we’re always seeking out.
