"The BD polo from G. Inglese was created to answer a long debated question: "What is simply the greatest long sleeve polo ever made?". It features the classic Inglese buttoned Anacapri collar, a length suited for both tucked and untucked situations, and a shirt style cuff for just a smidge of added dressiness (and the ability to roll your sleeves without stretching out the forearms on your shirt- a massive pet peeve of mine) that comes together for what I call the Michael Jordan of polo shirts. The fan favorite BD polo makes it a comeback (but don't call it a comeback) in a beautiful ivory oxford that's wearable year round and wearable with pretty much everything. This family atelier in Puglia makes shirts fit for a king

Ginosa is a small village in Puglia, known to some for its Gravina, an amazing archeological formation of ravines, caves and churches carved into the rock. It is also home to G. Inglese, a small haberdashery and shirt maker known of sartorial aficionados for years, and catapulted into the headlines when Angelo Inglese was selected by Prince William to make his wedding shirt.

Angelo Inglese's desire to perpetuate traditions transmitted from his grandfather often pushes him to dig out archives and replicate patterns and skills now gone from the world of shirtmaking. We have seen a lot of high end shirts, and had never seen a handmade shirt to the level of G. Inglese's.
