"Usually, we are quite pleased with a make-up after selecting a style and a fabric swatch... and sometimes we are blown away by the result. This here is one of the latter times. Everyone went wooooow when we opened that box. A new variation on the luxe Western shirt we developed with our friends at G. Inglese. This time with a striking ochre turmeric cotton/linen with a self-stripe pattern and bone color snaps. The result is GOOD, and lightweight and seasonal. Don't sleep on this one - and size up for comfort and vibe. Can't wait to see how the fabric evolves with washes too - keep us updated !!" ---Greg

About this Maker

G. Inglese

This family atelier in Puglia makes shirts fit for a king

Ginosa is a small village in Puglia, known to some for its Gravina, an amazing archeological formation of ravines, caves and churches carved into the rock.    It is also home to G. Inglese, a small haberdashery and shirt maker known of sartorial aficionados for years, and catapulted into the headlines when Angelo Inglese was selected by Prince William to make his wedding shirt.

Angelo Inglese's desire to perpetuate traditions transmitted from his grandfather often pushes him to dig out archives and replicate patterns and skills now gone from the world of shirtmaking.   We have seen a lot of high end shirts, and had never seen a handmade shirt to the level of G. Inglese's.
