This is probably because we've all worn t-shirts at some time in our lives either as an underlayer or on it's own and it's an easy thing to get for cheap and have it do the job but when you have a maker like Kaptain Sunshine actively trying to make this tee better than the rest, you can feel from the first touch. Using Sea Island cotton, some of the finest in the world and brushing it for softness gives the tee an almost sueded feel.
