"Sometimes, in life, we learn so-called truths from people in position of authority, and we realize later that it was all hogwash.  One of the dumbest things I ever learned on menswear forums was that flannel shall always be woolen and that worsted flannel was useless.  Once I got my first Fox worsted flannel suit and started wearing it all the time, I happily unlearned that and realized how good this fabric is.  Less stuffy and hot-wearing as a heavy woolen, but with a matt finish that cannot be found in classic worsteds, it became my goldilocks fabric for fall winter suits.  Especially for suits that are less conservative, like this beautiful desaturated sage olive green. TLDR: worsted flannel is actually great; try it."---Greg
